Ophtaprime, 50 ml

• Sodium edetate (EDTA) is a metal ion chelator; its action alters the
structure of cell membranes. It helps to maintain the commensal ocular flora and
limits biofilm formation.
• Trisaminomethane (TRIS) enhances the chelating action of sodium edetate.
• Polysorbate 80 is a surfactant and emulsifier that can increase the
membrane permeability of certain bacteria and help to limit
of biofilm.

Composition

Sodium edetate (EDTA) 0.1%, polysorbate 80: 0.1%, trisaminomethane 0.02%, buffering agents, purified water q.s. to 100 ml. OphtaPRIME contains no preservatives.

Directions for use

Before using OphtaPRIME, wash your hands thoroughly and avoid the tip of the bottle coming into contact with the eye or eyelid during application.
Apply the product 5 minutes before administering any ophthalmic treatment.
If there is no eye discharge, apply 1 to 2 drops to the affected eye.
If there is eye discharge (a dirty eye), apply a small squirt of the product into the eye. Wipe away any impurities and excess product with a clean piece of gauze.
Your vet may wish to modify the above instructions for use. Follow the

It is not recommended to use the treatment for more than 10 days.
